Kate Turton
Teaching Fellow
Kate is an Undergraduate Medical Teaching Fellow within DREEAM, supporting classroom and shop floor undergraduate medical students. She is currently on secondment from the Adult Emergency Department.
Kate trained as a registered Adult Nurse from 2006 to 2009 in Nottingham and Malta. She has a background in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care including outreach. She worked as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in Respiratory Medicine from 2015-2022 and now in ED as an ACP since 2022.
Kate still has a specialist interest in Respiratory Medicine, using her knowledge and skills to develop others in ED.
When not at work, Kate like outdoor pursuits like hiking, paddle boarding and skiing. She is also a wine fanatic with level 1 WSET in wine, with plans to undertake further qualifications in the next couple of years.
